      Fender Skirts
Long back I had procured front fender skirts A1248840335(LEFT) & A1248840435(RIGHT), which are not standard 124 fitment, found only in some diesels and two-tone horn models. Actually this should have been standard option since its completes the fender well. Since this is not standard option you need to create mounts to install these on normal W124.

I had installed it flush to bumper and it got eaten by the front tire like case below on my first drive, I have since re-fixed to match stock spacing.

      Refinishing Wheels

Original plan was to remove silver paint and buff the wheel to look like chromed wheel (see below) in the center and rest in white.

But I had limited time, from my initial trial my guess was it would take at least 3 days to do proper job. I had allocated one day and did not have white paint in stock, but had Rust-Oleum 248928. Did some adhoc plan to buff only the spoke and paint rest in black and visit this as separate project sometime later.
