      Adding Amp will void Warranty?

      Hi.

      About to get my new verna

      Planning to add polk amp and speakers.. everything is done via hi-low converter so no tampring with wires..

      Service guys said it will void warranty.. Is it true?

      Yes.

      Forget about adding an amp, changing the halogen bulb to LED will void warranty as it draws different load (though it may be lesser than factory spec)

      anything that i can do to keep the warranty + add amp? any ideas?

      Get it installed properly without spilicing of any factory wires and it should work for you. Where are you based out of ?

      I am from bangalore.. banashanakari.. i got a guy who is charging around 49 k for

      Door Damping x4
      Brazzo Amp
      Polk Front Speaker
      Polk component
      Hi Low Converter
      Wiring kit etc

      is it a good rate? i feel its bit high

      To be honest if I am in your place I wont go for this gear, their are better options available.

      High low will tamper more wires.
      Use RCA out if your car has one.

      Depends on Brand/Service.

      Mahindra is a bit lenient with accessories. Other brands may not be.

      Warranty in most cases depends on the relationship rather than facts.
      If you have a better 'understanding' with the SA, you could enjoy the warranty.

      Get the amp wiring done without damaging (or disturbing) the OE harness. If possible, get the smaller units that gets hidden behind the HU or inside the dash.
      that's the easy solution I could think of.
