      Handirack- Inflatable roof rack

      Saw this on amazon.
I know quite a few people who'd be interested in this product.

      http://www.amazon.co.uk/Handirack-Ro...pr_product_top
      here's a Video

      The pros-
1.It can stay in your boot till you need it,
thereby saving you the loss of mileage caused by wind resistance
2.It can be taken off easily and prevent your car from looking like a taxi
      3.can be transferred between cars
      4.one size fits all

      Doubts
Will it hold a cycle upright?

      Cons
if the roof is dirty- you're going to get it scratched.

      Anyways-
      I'm getting one. I think.

Interesting.... I guess with some minor precautions, we can easily avoid scratches here. Could come in handy when transporting bigger items that cannot be kept on a boot. It may not be able to hold a bicycle upright though. Doest not look like it, given it is only held down by the nylon straps which will be flexible in their movement. I'd say, put a old pillow/cushion and tie down the bicycle

Interesting. especially since the endeavour does not have much boot space until you fold or completely remove the rear seat, which again results in less number of passengers in the vehicle.

Ripper if you are getting one of these can you also please put up the price and also pictures once its here?

Godfather- you already have roof rails. the better option for you would be to use universal type cross rails on them.

The only problem is when you are entering shopping malls here in these SUV's and I do get scared a lot. adding anything extra on the roof will be nothing less than a heart attack for me.
for example the parking in UB city where the design is such that the sprinklers are centimeters from the roof.

You gotta hand it to the geniuses for such a design! On the brighter side, if you hit one, does it mean everyone gets a free car wash ?
