      Hyundai Tucson is here

      Hyundai Tucson is here

Hyundai got its world acclaimed Santa Fe to go against the luxury crossovers priced around 30 lakhs but there was something missing in the between segment of 16 lakh – 20 lakh. Putting forth a competition to the Tata Aria, Chevrolet Captiva, Suzuki Grand Vitara; The Hyundai Stable is reviving the Tucson. Yes it’s true and the spy images tell us the whole story. No news from any of the company officials but we think it’s about time this one enters the market. The new Tucson was accompanied by a white Santa Fe and had Bhutan number plates tested in Kolkata.
There is some staunch similarity between the New Tucson and the BMW designs that because the New Tucson is designed by the by former BMW designer Thomas Buerkle at Hyundai’s Russelsheim design studio in Germany and continues the company’s styling language, marketed as “fluidic sculpture”

What we expect for the Indian market is the 1.6Gdi and the 2.0 Crdi model priced modestly between 16lakh – 20lakh. With news of the i45, RB Saloon and now New Tucson Hyundai has sent a clear message to the market – Beware. What do you think will this one work?

Looks like one of those Bhutan plate sightings.

The vehicle looks much better on the road than in photos and I'd love to see this vehicle being sold in India through CKD route. But seeing how HMIL has priced the Santa Fe (CBU), I don't have much hopes.
