If you want great performance and max grip at the corners and IF YOU CAN live with the tyre noise, then the best bet would be Yoko S drives.

If you want decent performance and a silent drive then go for the Yoko C drives.

      Conti CPC2 is also good.

The maximum tyre size that you can go which can offer you a decent ride is 195/55/15. If you want even more lower profile go for the 205/50/15 but it is not advisable.

Michelin is best but does not offer the above size.

Actually all 3 of those tyres are pretty much useless. In each of those segments you have way better tyres at the same/lesser price.

hmmm actually it is the hazard lights that blink when you brake hard , got them blinking on 3 or 4 occasions . and they kinda work at speeds above 80km/hr itself .

thank you Pr_007 , can you look at this website . Tyre Upsizing, Tyre Upsizing Calculator, Tyre Upgrade, Upgrading tyres, Michelin Tyre dealer in chennai, Authorised Michelin Tyre dealer in chennai, Michelin India, Michelin Tyres, tyrestore chennai . cause it says 195/55/15 wont work .

and i am a big fan of michelin PP2, are u sure they come in either 205/50/r15 or 195/50/r15. and how doe they fare compared to yoko?

      Maxxis victra come highly recommended.
Not sure about the upsize. Have not upgraded my tires yet. But you can use any of the tire size calculators available on the net to decide the best upsize.

Apollo acclere is good value for money and a decent all rounder.

Pr_007 and riyaz_cobra - Here are two highly recommended tyres. See if you can get hold of either.

Performance Tyres - Hankook Ventus RS-2 Review: The Koreans are back with a bang!!

Maxxis Victra MA-Z1 - The new budget tyres..

The above two tyres are out and out performance oriented.

Most of us are big fans of PP2 as well, but production of PP2 has stopped now and Michelin has introduced PP3 which again I am told are brilliant tyres. But their availability seems to be very limited.

Other compounds which aren't as soft as the two mentioned above and yet recommended.

      1. Maxxis Victra MA-V1.
      2. Apollo Accelere.
