Fine, if thats done, what happens when i break the transmission? I mean spares wise! Has anyone done this before? I really dont mind throwing 6k at a dolphin to kickstart this experiment. If it doesnt work, thats fine. Atleast it'll be an inexpensive lesson
One was up for grabs with a mechanic friend near BTM layout when i was there. Actually i could've had the car for free if i wanted. I don't know if its still there though.
Reg the rest of the stuff - Where there's a Jugaad there's a way.

I saw that TCed Dolphin at Jakkur the car was making some huge amounts of power (or atleast P2R) it was going sideways.

Bobby uncle had put in a TC'd esteem engine into their dolphin. So let me talk to Sharan and see what info I can get on the project.[/quote:bq41sbv4]

@Mclaren1885, is the sharan you refer to the same we all know as sharanramesh? with the 1.4 punto?

LOUIS ... Have a look at this site...

Sudha Cars Museum is the first and only ... the World.

Sudhakar made some of the first GO-Karts in India with Sunny and Kinetic engines... way back in 1993-94. They used to be great fun to drive and used to go like stink! (The first go cart track I laid my eyes on was at this place called Treasure Island at Gandipet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. We used to talk extensively about dune buggies then - IIRC he had done some research/work on it as well.

He has since made 'automobiles' in every conceivable shape size fashion and form! He will surely have inputs you can use.

so the dolphin it is. i have done a lot of searching but in most places, i found only the bodyshells remaining. nothing else remains. no papers too. midway i lost interest. my project was to plonk a baleno engine and drive set up midship in the car. behind the drivers seat.

@Mclaren, guess the title of the thread can change.
