OEM brake pads for Honda Cr-V

      Hi,
can someone point me where to get Honda OEM brake pads (Front) for 2005 model CR-V in bangalore?

I have got the vehicle inspected in Dakshin honda (Hosur road) and was advised to get the brake pads and the brake rotors replaced.

I want to get the brake pads replaced (but not at the showroom considering the exorbitant prices they charge ), but is there a place where i can also get the brake rotors evened out in bangalore?

contact Shello Enterprises on JC Road. 080-26708892 for the pads.

you can get the rotors evened out at any decent lathe. if you drop by memo45_m's garage, he should be able to get it done.

Thanks man, checked with them. He mentioned that he had Nissens (guess i heard that correctly) for 1800 which is very very VFM
However, i got Akebono from a friend who was coming from US.

Cool, that would be great! will do.
I have a query here, how exactly am i supposed to know that there are problems with the rotors. AFAIK, if there is a shudder when you apply brakes it can be an issue with brake pad or brake rotor. Any way to isolate the problem rather than go to Honda showroom

changing brake pads is a simple process. if I were you I would first change the pads and see if the juddering goes away. if not, then work on the rotor. an experienced person can feel the surface of a rotor for undulations and tell you if it is warped enough to need turning.

that's because Honda OEM brake pads which are semi ceramic cost me 7600.
I got them through a friend coming from US for about 45$, which are better [Akebono-Full ceramic]

Got the brake pads and air filter changed yesterday, gawd! it was so simple. worth trying ourselves before going to mechanic!
Anyway, now when i apply the brakes there is no juddering sound. Tested it from 20 to 0 and 40 to 0 speeds and no issues found. will test it on higher speeds this week.
