Suzuki Swift \ Esteem \ Baleno Turbo parts

The following parts are for sale. Can be made to fit Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Esteem or Swift

1)NEW Suzuki G16B\G13B Garrett GT25 Turbo Log Exhaust Manifold with external wastegate provision
2)USED Mitsubishi side mount compact intercooler.
3)NEW Emusa External Wastegate with 4psi to 10 psi springs - matches with the manifold
      4)NEW Emusa Blow off valve

Expected price Rs: 25,000/- for the entire lot - Contact: 9980137148 Bangalore

If only Log manifold + External Wastegate are required, then Rs: 17500/-. External wastegates perform much better than internal ones in controlling boost spikes which could be detrimental to turboed petrol engines.

xerxes -since you question is basic, regarding how to get a turbo done, I am posting the reply here

First, if you are not good with mechanicals, then you should get hold of a tuner shop locally who can do the required modifications. Initially decide on the target psi. It could be 4 - 6 psi for a safe limit. Beyond 8 psi is asking for trouble in a stock petrol. It would require you go in for an engine overhaul with forged connecting rods.

You said you are using a free flow exhaust with conical filter. Well you have to dump the free flow & have to have the tuner fabricate in mild steel (correct gauge) the post turbo piping+ silencer. The Conical filter can be re-used in the intake side using radiator / silicon hose with customized mild steel piping.

      Extra parts to source
1)Turbo - GT1548 or GT20 series Garrett series from Red Rooster Racing, Bangalore (who are the authorized dealers of Garrett turbocharges). It is ideal that the turbo has a GT25 flange to match the Exhaust manifold.
There are good quality Chinese clones of Garrett for half the price, but then say a prayer & 'God be with You' before you buy those.

2)Piggyback ECU from Racedynamics, Banglore to control timing & fueling.

3)Oil + water (if present) feed lines with banjo fittings for the Turbo.

Going beyond 6 psi would prove to be expensive. Desire for more wheel power = willingness & source to spend from wallet.

Another piggyback option is Unichip from Spitfire, Coimbatore

Below is an example of a good quality Chinese turbo (suitable for 1.3L \ 1.6L engines) that can be used with the manifold. Listed as TB25 -clone of a GT20 Garrett turbo. Costs around 250 USD + shipping.

I had this turbo in mind for the mod.
Garrett 1548 - it is the largest turbo in GT15 family & ideal mild boost turbo for a 1.3L engine. Costs around 650 USD

If anybody is interested for the Swift G13BB, then instead of the Mitsubishi intercooler an OE Diesel Swift intercooler is available. It is drop-in fit in the petrol Swift

eapen, do these still up for grabs? Also want to know whether the manifold is compatible with GB10B for Zen.

      Thanks.

Yes, I confirmed with a rally mechanic. The exhaust port & stud layout will match a Zen G10B engine.
